STACKED in Huntington Beach is the kind of place that doesn't overcomplicate things. It's comfort food at its core--big, bold, and unapologetic. The menu hands you the reins, letting you pile on whatever you want, whether that's a burger stacked to absurd heights or a mac 'n' cheese that dares to be as indulgent as possible. The Bloody Mary deserves a mention because it's my go-to. Loaded with enough garnishes to double as an appetizer, it's rich, spicy, and exactly what you want in a well-made cocktail. Swap in tequila, and it becomes a Bloody Maria--smoky, sharp, and just as it should be. Breakfast isn't the main event here, but what they do, they do well. Lunch and dinner step it up, with dishes like the Lobster Mac 'n' Cheese--creamy, decadent, and over-the-top in all the right ways. The burgers? They don't hold back. Juicy, stacked high, with combinations that push excess in the best possible way. A little loud, a little chaotic, but that's part of the charm.
This place does a decent burger! They have a nice menu with preset burger options, but then also have a huge build your own list--which is honestly, sort of overwhelming. They will cook the burgers to order (hate an overdone burger) and they always come out hot. Fries are pretty tasty--and, for Celiacs, they have a separate french fryer. We have always sat at the bar and the service is always super friendly. They have a decent beer selection (according to my husband) and the drinks are well poured. Parking is easy, as there is a huge lot. Lots of TVs and sports are always on.
Soooooo..... I probably shouldn't be writing this review after The Bottomless Mimosas.... But you know, "Felt cute, Might Delete Later..." when I sober up a bit. $20 bottomless mimosas. Make sure you got a ride. Fun night, I mean... day....
Wait, What??? How have I never been here before. Beautiful open concept- dining, bar and "outdoor patio" all great. Stunning architecture and very inviting. The bar is a U shape dividing the dining and DOG FRIENDLY space. Happy Hour Menu food/drinks prices are one of the BEST I have seen in a long time. There are TV's to watch your favorite sports - I came during football season. Super casual- great food- lots of space and heaters for the "patio" just ask to turn them on. Come ask for "Super Server Sarah", bartender Erin and Jose is the best!
